Before or after the canal cruise, you can take a five minute walk to Dijkers Eten & Drinken, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Dijkers Eten & Drinken is situated in the most picturesque shopping street of Haarlem, the Warmoesstraat, at a stone’s throw from the Bavo. It also has a lovely outside seating area.
Haarlem Canal Tours operates from April up to and including October, every Tuesday – Sunday. Our sloop departs at 11:30, 13:00, 14:30, 16:00, and 17:30.
The price of the tour is €37.50 (incl. 9% VAT, excl. 6% booking fee) per person for the canal cruise and lunch.
The tour presentation is in Dutch and English. The boat departs from a to Haarlem Canal Tours exclusively allocated location at the Spaarne across from House no 17. See the map for details.
The canal tour will take you past many of Haarlem’s famous historic and modern buildings including: De Egelantier (former hospital), de Nieuwe Kerk (The New Church), Stadsschouwburg (City Theater), Kathedraal Sint Bavo (Cathedral), Patronaat (club Patronaat), Het Huis Barnaart (Barnaart residence), Het Paardenwed (medieval horse stables), Koudenhorn, De Molen Adriaan (Adrian’s Windmill), Teylers Museum, Grote or St. Bavo Kerk (St. Bavo Church), various squares and almshouses, as well as many other monuments and examples of fine architecture which can be found throughout Haarlem.
